To celebrate St. Patty’s day I wanted to have a good showing today at Nokere. I thought maybe I was gonna have a shot at the win! With 350 meters to go on the cobblestone finish climb, I connected with Alexander Kristoff and he drove it hard up the base of the climb. With about 200 to go we were drilling it up the right side, and a leadout guy from topsport came over hard and put us in the barrier. We both hit our brakes and I did what I could to salvage the finish. Winded up 6th. Wyss was 9th. Kristoff came in 13th.
